SERVICES

EMERGING ADULT THERAPY

Support for adolescents and emerging adults who are feeling “stuck,” unsure their next steps, transitioning from high school to college, exploring alternative options to college, have made a planned or unplanned return home from college, seeking employment, or looking for changes in employment. The reasons why any emerging adults may be struggling can depend on a variety of factors. As part of this process, we try to better understand the underlying reasons why someone may be struggling and develop a plan for treatment. Areas of treatment may address: Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD & Executive Functioning, Motivation, Family Dynamics, Autism/Social Navigation, Technology & Videogame Overuse, navigating transition including education and employment.

INDIVIDUAL CHILD & ADOLESCENT THERAPY

Therapy for children and adolescents for Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD & Executive Functioning, General Stress & Adjustments, Technology Overuse, and Autism / Social Communication Challenges, Academic, & Life Transitions. I strive to create a comfortable environment for children & adolescents to express themselves and utilize evidence-based approaches to help increase self-awareness, regulation, develop coping skills, and improve relationships. My work with children often includes caregivers as part of the therapy or caregiver coaching to support their child’s goals.

ADULT THERAPY

Therapy for adults to treat Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD/Executive Functioning, work transitions, and navigating personal relationships.

FAMILY THERAPY, PARENT COACHING, CONSULTATION

Family counseling to help improve communication and support one another’s needs.

Caregiver/parent coaching and consultation for supporting children and young adults. This may include a review of prior treatment including evaluations, and speaking with other providers.

I am trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) for working with both parents of children and teenagers experiencing anxiety, as well as the expansion of SPACE specifically for helping parents with struggling young adults.

GROUP THERAPY

THERAPEUTIC EMPLOYMENT READINESS GROUP:

The Therapeutic Employment Readiness Group is for Emerging Adults ages 18-30 who are interested in seeking employment. Each hands-on session aims to help Emerging Adults increase self-awareness and develop skills to be successful as they prepare to enter the workforce. While this group includes “hard skill” development such as resume writing and interview practice with feedback, we have a focus on the social navigation, social-emotional, and anxiety-management  aspects of the job-seeking process. We believe that by learning how to manage one’s emotional and executive experience in the process, one will be better equipped to both obtain and maintain employment.
